TIPS & TRICKS
- Want to increase your email subscribers?
Use some of the email content for teasers on your socials, or as tips & tricks text messages. Then tell them that if they want more detail and regular Sexual Wellness information to subscribe (then include details on how they sign up for your emails) - Remember that email is a long game!
It's also a way lower conversion rate than what you might be used to (if you message 10 people, you might get one bite... if you email 1000 people, you might get one bite...). That's why continuing to build your funnel and getting new subscribers matters. Emails can also get stale, and if you are just starting out, you might have 50% of your emails be stale leads. That's okay, don't sweat it. - Personalize them
by inserting a "First Name" field when you can. Also, if you have both men and women on your email list, make sure you make things as generic as possible by not assuming your audience. - Create custom collections to increase conversion (advanced)
Depending on your goal and comfort level, if there's an email that talks about a certain type of product, or let's say Menopause, you can create a Collection for "Menopause" and link that as your button. So instead of a Shop Now button that takes them to your home page, it would directly take them to the 5 curated Menopause recommendations, making searching and shopping easier 😉 - Eye catching graphics
Don't worry about header images not matching products you carry (unless you are specifically selling a certain item in the email). No one will EVER (okay, probably not ever) ask for it. It's just about capturing their attention. - Add a little formatting
Like putting the text into bullet points, adding some bold or italics (I'm working on getting the copy paste to work to include these, but for now, it's doesn't! - Include your Important Details
Make sure your emails have links to your socials (you can even add buttons to click to follow instead of the little icons). You also want to make sure they can shop easily, or contact you. It's also okay to include a photo of you in the email, or in the footer so they know who you are.

STEPS:
Text this to your clients! You can send to everyone, or send to your "top" customers. Remember to fill in the blanks. The # of coupon codes you have should be your goal. How many orders do you want to get with this?
For the exp date, I recommend giving no more than 3 days for them to shop. This creates a sense of urgency & encourages them to shop right away. Any longer than that, they’ll forget.
There’s 2 ways to do the discount:
If you’d prefer to be hands off, you can create the coupon codes for your website & direct them to place the order there. Or if you’d like the opportunity to upsell, etc you can send them your catalog link (instead of the website). Below is verbiage for both options. If they’re getting a free buzzing toy/mild product-check out the sale pages on the wholesale websites! So much good stuff! Don’t forget to recommend the toy cleaner & tote since they’re getting a toy 🙂

TAKING ORDERS:

TIPS & TRICKS
Every now and again, you can send a text asking how often someone wants to be contacted! Knowing this allows you to send less text messages by focusing on engaged customers!
As you start to increase your text messaging, you are also increasing your costs, and not everyone on your list wants to hear from you all the time... but that doesn't mean they don't want to hear from you at all. By occasionally asking your customers to "opt in" to more text messaging, you can engage with those customers more regularly, without risking more unsubscribes. I use tags to segment my customers. here's the general gist of my tags (name them things that make sense to you):
1. GIVES A SHIT LIST (top priority, said yes to all texts)
2. THE MID LIST (said yes to 1-2 texts per month)
3. THE REST LIST (said yes to texts, but haven't responded, or opted into anything)
So you will want to create those tags before doing anything else. You can name them whatever you want, as long as they make sense to you.
Then BEFORE SENDING THE TEXT, create 3 KEYWORDS, all can have the same auto reply, something like "thanks so much for letting me know! Got that updated!"
The three keywords: INSIDER, SOMETIMES, LESS

Then you need to...
- Add the "INSIDER" contacts to your "Gives A Shit" tag list
- Add the "SOMETIMES" contacts to your "Mid List" tag list
- Add the "LESS" contacts to your "Less List" tag list
In Project Broadcast, here's how (and then just repeat)
- Go to Audience > Tags
- Click on your "Gives A Shit" Tag
- Look for the > symbol near the list of contacts, and click it
- Top Right corner, hit the + symbol
- Then click the Tag Symbol
- Search for the INSIDER Tag, and hit the check mark
- Then bottom left, hit ADD ALL
- Now everyone with the INSIDER Tag is in your "Gives A Shit" list.
👉 You also need to REMOVE the SOMETIMES and LESS people that might have been on your Gives A Shit List before. You follow the same process, but hit the - symbol, select the Sometimes and Less tags, and remove all.
Now repeat for your Mid List and Less List!

This is just a fun activity for group engagement and getting people involved! November 24th is National Talent Day, so this is a virtual talent show in your group from Nov 21st to Nov 24th. To be entered in to win, your customers are encouraged to post a video of themselves and a random, silly, funny, legit talent! From leap frog, hula hoop, spoons on the nose to opera singing... whatever their talent is, encourage them to share it. Then offer prizes for the winners! Use comments on posts, or likes as the votes, and encourage the group to vote, comment, post!
Nov 21st - Kick Off
Nov 23rd - Final day to Enter by Posting a Video (midnight)
Nov 24th - Final day to Vote (midnight)
Nov 25th - Announce winners
Like with anything, the more you post about this, encourage it, maybe go live with a silly talent, the more your group will likely engage!

FINAL DAY TO POST VIDEOS, make sure you update the post with your prizes, don't just say "PRIZE"
Include a fun selfie (you doing the hula hoop, keeping it silly and fun keeps it low pressure)
