Does by Buyer Badge get me in?

YES

WHAT IS IS?

SEX Expo is a sexual wellness, education, product discovery and consumer experience.

SEX Expo creates an environment where people can discover and learn about:

  • Sexual wellness
  • Relationships
  • Sexual health
  • Pleasure products
  • Sexual wellness technology
  • Product innovation
  • Intimate care
  • Inclusive product design
  • Sextech
  • Dating
  • Relationships
  • Sexual confidence

SEX Expo is designed to be approachable for people with all different levels of knowledge and experience.

You do not have to be an expert.
You do not have to work in the industry.
You do not have to already own products.

You can simply be curious.

The consumer portion may attract:

  • Couples
  • Singles
  • Men
  • Women
  • All genders
  • All sexual orientations
  • People who already use products
  • People who have never used a product
  • People interested in intimacy
  • People interested in relationships
  • People interested in sexual wellness
  • People simply curious about learning something new

SEX Expo is open to adults ages 18 and older.

WHEN:

Fri January 8th

9:00 A.M.–4:00 P.M.
B2B ONLY (this is us)

During this period, SEX Expo functions as a trade-focused environment.

This gives buyers and industry professionals time to visit participating SEX Expo brands.

This is important because not every company participating in SEX Expo will necessarily have a booth on the XBIZ Expo floor.

3:00 P.M.–10:00 P.M.
(OPENS TO THE PUBLIC)

There is approximately a:

👉 TWO-HOUR B2B / B2C OVERLAP

This means industry professionals and consumers will be inside SEX Expo at the same time.

That is intentional.

As consumers enter, the environment changes.

You will begin seeing consumers interacting directly with:

  • Brands
  • Products
  • Educators
  • Workshops
  • Experiences
  • Activations

For retailers and manufacturers, this provides an opportunity to see consumer interaction firsthand.

Sat January 9th

Frequently Asked Questions (Coming)

What's the difference between XBIZ, Stimulate and Altitude? +

So this is #LucyTalk

From what I can gather (I have not attended XBiz before, but will be checking it out this year) it's a large Industry wide event.

There are vendors at the show, just like Altitude and Stimulate. I have been told that Altitude is the largest, Stimulate is the smallest, so XBiz sits in the middle in terms of number of vendors and booths.

Unlike Altitude or Stimulate, there is also the SEX Expo, and the X3 Creator expo at the same time, so there's a focus on the industry as a whole, not just the retail or distribution side (creators, film stars, customers, everyone).

Here's my take. Every event is going to have a different spin, a different vibe, and different details, but fundamentally, they are all shows.

Altitude = Very "Business" and Vendor Focused

Stimulate = Education heavy, focused on the overall experience, a curated intimate event, and very much suited towards independent sellers.

XBiz - Industry wide, honestly, I'm imagining a mix of the two.
