👀 Always read the pasted email, because you will need to make some edits, insert buttons, possibly update the ordering and discount details. Subject and preview lines are always being copied to so you can paste them where they need to go!
When you paste your email, you will need to add a BUTTON to the bottom:
Label it TREAT YOUR TACO
Then you can insert a link... if you want to automatically apply the discount code for your customers, you can go into the discount you created (in Shopify) and click on the "Promote" button, then "Get Shareable Link" If you put this link into the button link area, it will apply the discount code for them.
This button will send them to your home page, but if they add to cart, the discount will be there.
MORE ADVANCED You can also link a discount code, AND send them to a specific collection (so you send them to browse a specific collection, which can increase purchases). You need the shareable discount link AND the link to whatever collection you want to send them to (so for this email, it would make sense to send them to something like your Clitoral Toy Page, so go to that page on your site, and copy that URL)
This will take anyone directly to the Clitoral Section on your site, and apply the discount code. Always test it yourself, and whole order discounts will show at the bottom of the cart 💸 You can also use this hack to create a collection just for one email (in this case, you could create a collection with your top 10 "Taco Picks" and link to that!)
